CNC stuff

At the bottom of the page are links to two YouTubes that I created on the topic of CNC fabrication of a set of parts. My plan is to use these parts to make a physcial demonstration of how hydraulic cylinders can be used as the prime movers for human mimicking robots.

I want to show with use of Hydraulic Cylinders as the prime movers in a human mimicking robot, just what these kinds of robots would look like and what they could do. Here’s an image of the robot holding itself up with its robot hand, this is all feasible using hydraulic cylinders.

Below is an image of the hydraulic cylinder endcap plus the split gland endcap as I discussed. This image is a Keyshot rendering from a step file that I created of these endcaps using Autodesk Fusion.

Follows below are a set of files that you can download if you want.

Download 77mb This is a pdf file of a collection of images that I referred to in my video about CNC topics (141 downloads ) Download 8mb This is a pdf file of a set of dimensions that I measured for one of the CNC items that I am hoping to have fabricated (218 downloads ) Download 70mb This is an Autodesk Maya file of the working drawings for a CNC item that I am hoping to get fabricated (138 downloads )
Download 55mb This is a 55mb png version of the image above, rendered via Keyshot, showing the CNC parts group that I am hoping to get fabricated (181 downloads ) Download 50mb This is a zip file of an FBX export. (to import this zip into your 3D drawing program, you will need to extract the zip first, it will contain an FBX file (150mb) and a textures folder (5mb)) This is an FBX of the drawing files that I created for this group of CNC parts that I am hoping to get fabricated.
